2019 Regional Report on the Drug Situation in Central Asia
The Regional Report on the Drug Situation in Central Asia was prepared within the framework of the Central Asia Drug Action Programme – Phase 6 (CADAP 6) in the component C2 – “National Focal Points” (NFP). It uses the data as of 31st December 2017 and, where it is available and important, also newer data.
The review includes information provided by ministries, agencies, public institutions, and nongovernmental organisations involved in the reduction of drug demand and supply.
The standards for key epidemiological indicators and guidelines for the preparation of national reviews developed by the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (www.emcdda.europa.eu) were followed, as far as the available data allowed.
